Nguồn gốc từ
From Middle English omelī, omelīe, omelye, from Old French omelie and directly from homīlia (homily), from Ancient Greek ὁμῑλίᾱ (homily; instruction), from ὅμῑλος (crowd, throng) + -ῐ́ᾱ. ὅμῑλος is derived from ὁμός (common; same) + ῑ̓́λη (crowd) (from εἴλω (to aggregate)).
